What’s New in Oppo Reno13 & 13 Pro as They Arrive in India and Vietnam

The Oppo Reno13 and Reno13 Pro are powered by the Dimensity 8350. These are durable, IP69-rated devices with Gorilla Glass 7i for screen protection. The Pro and vanilla versions both have 6.83″ and 6.59″ displays, respectively, and are 120Hz 10-bit OLED panels.
Along with superior cameras (a larger 1/1.56″ sensor for the 50MP main (compared to 1/1.95″) and a 50MP 85mm telephoto module (3.5x), the Pro model also has a better battery (5,800mAh with 80W wired and 50W wireless vs. 5,600mAh with only 80W wired charging).
The Reno13 series was introduced by Oppo in China in November, and the two initial models are currently being sold outside. India is the first definite new market, and on January 9th, the new models will be introduced there. But we don’t yet have all the information, particularly the cost.

Reno13 Pro Quick Specs
The Reno13 Pro 5G’s enlarged Infinite View Screen with Ultra-Thin Bezels gives a smooth viewing experience with extremely thin borders on all four sides that are optically equal. A 1.5K OLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.8% and 93.4%, respectively, is standard on the Reno13 Pro 5G and Reno13 5G. Additionally certified for HDR10+, Amazon HD&HDR, and Netflix HD&HDR are both screens.
Reno13 Pro Water Resistance Test
All models in the Reno13 Series have an IP66, IP68, or IP69 Water and Dust Resistance classification, providing outstanding defense against both water and dust. In addition to being protected against water splashes up to 80°C3, the phones can be submerged in water up to 2 meters deep for 30 minutes, which opens up whole new possibilities for users to explore and create in their surroundings.
Every model has a distinct Underwater Mode5 with physical button control for simple underwater operation and independent color adjustment for distortion-free, realistic images. To ensure peak performance, a sophisticated one-tap drainage mechanism also removes water from the device in a matter of seconds.
NFC Support
Another significant step in lowering interoperability barriers between various smartphone ecosystems is the Reno13 Series. The phones are among the first Android devices to allow direct Livephoto sharing with iOS devices (that have NFC capability) thanks to the brand-new Tap-to-Share feature. Sharing content with friends, family, and followers is now simpler than ever thanks to AI Livephoto sharing on well-known social media platforms like Instagram6 and WhatsApp.
Battery Durability
The Reno13 Pro 5G and Reno13 5G include 5,800mAh and 5,600mAh batteries, respectively, with support for OPPO’s 80W SUPERVOOCTM Flash Charge9 technology. By retaining at least 80% of their initial capacity after five years of usage, these high endurance batteries are made to provide longer lifespans without sacrificing performance.
The Reno13 Series will first launch in the APAC region before progressively expanding to other regions.
