OnePlus 13 and 13R Global Launch Date Confirmed
OnePlus recently announced that the OnePlus 13 will be released globally the next month, and it appears that the company has now confirmed the precise day and hour of the event. Furthermore, this event is being referred to as the “OnePlus 13 Series Winter Launch Event.” The use of the word “series” in there essentially implies that the OnePlus 13R will exist and that it will be officially announced at this event.
The OnePlus 13 has a 6.82-inch 1440×3168 LTPO AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 4,500 nit. It also has a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 12/16/24GB of RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage, a triple rear camera system (50 MP main with OIS, 50 MP ultrawide with autofocus, and 50 MP periscope telephoto with 3x zoom and OIS), a 32 MP selfie camera, and a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. OxygenOS 15 will be installed on top of Android 15.
We presume that the event will only be held online because there is no physical place associated with it. It is scheduled for January 7 at 10:30 AM EST, 4:30 PM CET, and 9:00 PM IST, as you can see below.

According to rumors, the OnePlus 13R will have a 6.78-inch “1.5K” LTPO OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 12/16GB of RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage, a triple rear camera system (50 MP main with OIS, 8 MP ultrawide, and 2 MP decorative), a metal frame, an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 6,415 to 6,500 mAh battery that supports 80W wired billing.
