OnePlus 13R to Get Telephoto Camera, Rumors Say

The majority of reports so far have suggested that the OnePlus 13R would be a renamed OnePlus Ace 5, which debuted in China a few days ago. The 13R will be officially launched on January 7 during the worldwide launch of the OnePlus 13. This is mainly because the OnePlus 12R was actually the OnePlus Ace 3 under a different name.
However, OnePlus has previously revealed that the 13R’s battery capacity is smaller than the Ace 5’s, so the plot gets more complicated. Additionally, a recent rumor suggests that the 13R will include a telephoto camera, which is another distinction between the two.
According to reports, the OnePlus 13R will include a 50 MP primary camera with a Sony Lytia LYT-700 sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 50 MP telephoto with a 2x optical zoom that uses a Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor. A 16 MP camera will handle selfies.
With the exception of the telephoto, which is replaced by a decorative 2 MP macro sensor, the Ace 5 has all the same cameras. If this rumor is true, the worldwide OnePlus 13R would have a better camera than the Ace 5, which is only available in China. However, as was already established, it would sacrifice some battery capacity for whatever reason.
