Poco Website Discontinued: New Phones Now Under Xiaomi
Poco has formally closed its standalone po.co website, which it announced would be shutting down in October 2024. The goal is to simplify its digital ecosystem by selling all Poco products on the Xiaomi website starting in 2025.
On January 9, the Poco X7 pair will be the first new Poco product to be offered for sale on the Xiaomi website.
Any regional website, including the global po.co site, is obviously down. All European websites are routed to the corresponding Xiaomi Store, including the British, French, and German versions.
Prior to the release of the Poco C75 and Poco M7 Pro 5G, which were anticipated to arrive in the second half of December, Poco India appears to be stuck in a time warp.
Xiaomi would take care of all warranties, according to Poco’s confirmation. This has always been the case; although being referred to as independent, the brand has never been completely independent. Rather, it functions as a marketing tactic to increase sales in a variety of markets via offline and online platforms.
Also closed is the Poco Store app. Personal information can be downloaded via the Xiaomi account settings, however it will be kept for a specific period of time in compliance with applicable regulations.
