Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Features, Specs, and Price Range

Following today’s Unpacked event, Samsung hinted us about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, which is still being rumored as the Galaxy S25 Slim.

We had the good fortune to see the Galaxy S25 Edge up close while attending Samsung’s launch in San Jose, California. Come on, ladies and gentlemen, look at it! Additionally, keep in mind that there is currently no official information regarding its specifications.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Quick Features

It’s quite thin. Although Samsung has not formally disclosed any figures, it is obvious that its primary selling point will be its thinness. It essentially appears like a Galaxy S25+ from the front; it’s difficult to notice any differences. Naturally, though, the Edge shines most on the sides.

The back is also unique, with a circular LED flash array and an oval camera island with only two shooters, from the rumor that Apple’s reported iPhone 17 Air will only have one back camera in order to be even thinner than the Galaxy S25 Edge, we think Samsung used just two cameras in order to keep the Galaxy S25 Edge thin.

Prior speculation regarding this phone suggested that the Galaxy S25 Edge would have a 6.7-inch screen. It is smaller than the 6.9-inch Galaxy S25 Ultra, but it is the same size as the Galaxy S25 Plus plus.

This may possibly be the first Samsung phone with a dual OLED display because the technique can assist reduce thickness. While unconfirmed, this is undoubtedly conceivable.

Apple clarified that a backlight is not required for its iPad Pro M4, the first tablet with a dual OLED display. A thinner display is made possible by OLED’s ability to emit light via each pixel. The iPad Pro’s Tandem OLED design, which consists of two OLED panels, provides exceptionally high brightness over a sizable, wide display.

Although we think it sounds better than the Galaxy S25 Slim, Samsung products’ “Edge” feature used to be all about screens that curved onto the corners. Do you recall those times? In contrast, the Galaxy S25 Edge features a flat screen. that’s likely a case of “it sounds cool, let’s reuse it” and no more consideration was given to the naming beyond that, considering that is the opposite of what an Edge used to be.

Price

The pricing of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is the other major concern. we just speculating, but I believe Samsung may price it somewhere between the Galaxy S25 Plus ($999) and the Galaxy S25 Ultra ($1,299). I might be mistaken, but I don’t see consumers spending more than $1,200 on a flagship phone without a third camera.

According to earlier speculations, the Galaxy S25 Slim might launch in May, which would fall between the standard S25 series and the anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 this summer (probably in late July).
