Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Released Date
Paul Bettany, the voice of JARVIS and Vision in the MCU, spoke at Samsung’s event in San Jose to announce the company’s newest Samsung device. After the opening of a product experience area, a crowd gathered in the rear to watch Samsung’s next smartphone. Samsung displayed the Galaxy S25 Edge but did not allow anyone to touch it.
The Edge’s slender profile immediately caught our attention. Since the phone was viewed from the side with mockups of the Galaxy S23 and S24 next to it to illustrate the thickness difference, it is clear that this is what Samsung planned.
The Galaxy S25 Edge, formerly known as the Galaxy S25 Slim, was Samsung’s big “one more thing” at yesterday’s Unpacked launch event. The smartphone was teased and then shown off to the excited techie masses rather than being officially introduced on stage.
The release date of the Galaxy S25 Edge is the other important detail. According to a Samsung official, the smartphone should arrive on April. This is consistent with earlier reports that indicated a launch as early as April or May 2025.

Samsung has managed to keep the Galaxy S25 Edge under wraps for the first time in a long time, making it possibly the most interesting of the company’s new smartphones even if it won’t be launching with the others.
That is quite consistent with previous rumors that it would arrive no later than May. The thinness of the phone, which has been speculated to be 6.4mm but hasn’t been formally confirmed yet, company representatives are just stating that it’s “roughly” 6mm thin, will undoubtedly be its primary selling feature.
From the front, the display looks to be about as large as the Galaxy S25+, as reported, with slim bezels. The back is where you’ll find some departures from the rest of the series though. The camera module is different, and there are only two cameras too. They look very similar to Apple’s camera design on the iPhone 16 as well.
