Samsung to Use AI in 6G for Better Network Quality

Samsung has more to say about its current position on the communications future than it did in its initial white paper on 6G, which was published in 2020.
According to the company’s recent white paper, its goal is to increase network quality and incorporate the newest AI technologies into the telecommunications system for a sustainable and forward-thinking user experience.
In general, a white paper is an educational document that outlines future plans in clear language. In this instance, Samsung described how 6G will improve and speed up connectivity. The sixth-generation wireless networks are anticipated to benefit the following five services:
immersive XR in science, entertainment, and healthcare;
digital twin for security-related virtual representations of real-world objects (think holograms);
massive communication, which enables continuous connectivity across several machines, terminals, and sensors;
increasing service areas, enabling interoperability between terrestrial and non-terrestrial (satellite) networks, and providing ubiquitous connectivity;
Similar to wired connectivity, but without the wire, is fixed wireless access (FWA).
All of this will be improved by AI technologies, which are claimed to help lower costs, improve energy efficiency, and increase service coverage in addition to making the user experience future-proof.
On paper, this all sounds fantastic, but it’s still unclear when it will actually happen. Samsung stated that it anticipates the finalization of 6G technology standards in 2030 and that research and development would shortly pick up speed.
